Risotto mit gebratenen Pilzen und getrockneten Tomaten und etwas Sauvignon Blanc
Um 11 Uhr sah ich den Professor auf seinem Hausdach sitzen. Er reparierte die alte Antenne, die eigentlich gar nicht angeschlossen war.
»Es ist nur für die Vögel, sie müssen doch irgendwo sitzen«, meinte er einmal.
Und tatsächlich sah ich auf den rostigen kleinen Stangen, gerade im Spätsommer und zum Herbstanfang, einige Vögel sitzen. Krähen, Elster, Tauben und auch mal ein paar kleinere Vögel wie Blaumeisen und Sperlinge.
Ich mag am liebsten Rotkehlchen. Sie sind so winzig, und neugierig sind sie auch. Ich glaube, sie beobachten Menschen. Manchmal, wenn ich das Haus verlasse, sitzt eines auf meinem Rad, das am Zaun des Hauses angeschlossen ist und schaut mich mit leicht gedrehtem Kopf an.
Gegenüber auf dem Hausdach schepperte es. Caprese war der Hammer aus der Hand gefallen und mit Geratter über die Ziegeln in die Regenrinne geschlittert. Er fluchte auf Italienisch.
»Kommen Sie heute zum Essen? Es gibt Risotto«, rief ich ihm, vom Malheur ablenkend, zu.
Er nickte und winkte zur Unterstreichung.
Ich schloss das Fenster.
Im Kochlabor duftete es nach verdampftem Wein, nach Fäden von Blattpetersilie, geschmorten Pilzen und gerösteten getrockneten Tomaten.
